She began her career in the UK, where she worked across both adult and paediatric oncology and bone marrow transplant services, gaining valuable experience in high-acuity, multidisciplinary care. Since relocating to Australia, Heather has focused on improving outcomes for immunocompromised children. She is currently undertaking a PhD focused on antimicrobials and supportive care in this vulnerable population.
