Dr Leanne Berkahn is a clinical haematologist and head of the Lymphoma Service at Auckland Hospital. She is a senior lecturer in the Department of Molecular Medicine and Pathology at the University of Auckland School Of Medicine. Leanne worked for a number of years as a bone marrow transplant physician at Rush University in Chicago.

Her research interests include the use of bispecific T cell engaged therapy and novel drug therapies for leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma.

Dr Leanne also provides expert commentary for New Zealand’s Lymphoma and Leukaemia Research Review. She is heavily involved in research and is the principal investigator in a number of clinical trials.

She has a MBChB from the University of Otago, is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and a Fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia.
