Dr Chris Swain is a research fellow with the Department of Physiotherapy, University of Melbourne and holds an honorary appointment with the Cancer Epidemiology Department at Cancer Council Victoria. His research has improved understanding of: (i) how physical inactivity contributes to cancer risk; (ii) the critical importance of performing physical activity after cancer diagnosis and treatment; and (iii) how to support physical activity in people affected by cancer. Chris works closely with people who have lived experience of cancer when planning and conducting his research.
