Dr John Kwan is the BTCT Program Director at Westmead Hospital, Medical Director of the BTCT laboratory and a senior clinical lecturer at the University of Sydney. Dr Kwan is a principle and co-investigator of local, national & international cooperative studies through the ALLG & industry-sponsored trials. He has undertaken national & international fellowships in transplantation using novel clinical transplant models with major research interests incorporating allogeneic stem cell transplantation, and alternate donor sources particularly haploidentical transplantation, cellular immune reconstitution & improving long term outcomes in transplantation.
