Keynote About Dr Monica Cabrero

Dr Monica Cabrero is a member of the Cellular Therapy and Transplantation Unit in Salamanca University Hospital, with a focus on allogeneic stem cell transplantation and acute lymphoblastic leukaemia.

Dr Cabrero is also a member of the PETHEMA Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia working group and the Spanish Transplant Group (GETH), where she is involved in clinical trials and patient management.

Dr Cabrero is affiliated with the ‘Cellular Therapy and Transplantation’ research group at the Institute for Biomedical Research of Salamanca, working on post-transplant endothelial complications.

She obtained her medical degree from the University of Salamanca in 2007 and specialised in haematology at the University Hospital of Salamanca from 2012.

She then undertook a research fellowship in the MD Anderson Cancer Center (USA) Leukemia department, focusing on molecular prognostic factors of acute leukaemia and myelodysplastic syndromes.
