Dr Wael Saber is a Professor of Medicine in the Division of Hematology and Oncology in the Department of Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin and a Senior Scientific Director at the Center for International Blood and Marrow Transplant Research (CIBMTR) outcomes registry. His research focuses on the determinants of outcomes of hematopoietic cell transplant outcomes (HCT) for patients with hematologic malignancies broadly but especially among patients with myelodysplastic neoplasms (MDS). He directs the Leukemia committee as well as the Data Science and Personalized Medicine program at the CIBMTR. His work has resulted in more than 200 papers in the field of hematology and HCT-related outcomes.
