Call for ANZTCT Registry Study Proposals

The ANZTCT Registry Committee is pleased to invite submissions for innovative, investigator-led research studies to be undertaken using the ANZTCT Registry.

As part of our streamlined annual research process, proposals will now be considered once each year. Following review by the ANZTCT Registry Committee, the top 3–4 proposals will be invited to present their study concept during a dedicated Registry Studies Showcase Session on Friday 28 August at the 2026 ANZTCT Annual Scientific Meeting. Following these presentations, up to two proposals will be selected to progress as formal ANZTCT Registry projects for 2027, with support from the ANZTCT Registry Committee.

We welcome proposals that address important questions across the transplantation and cellular therapy (TCT) landscape, including:

  • Disease-specific TCT outcomes research
  • Health services and health systems research
  • Quality improvement, benchmarking and real-world evidence studies
  • Equity, access and disparities in care
  • Innovative scientific questions
  • Multidisciplinary research involving nursing, pharmacy, allied health, psychosocial care and survivorship
This initiative aims to support high-impact, data-driven research that advances knowledge, improves patient outcomes, informs clinical practice and policy, and maximises the value of the ANZTCT Registry as a national resource.

We encourage investigators at all career stages and from all disciplines within the TCT community to submit proposals that address clinically relevant questions and contribute to the evidence base underpinning transplantation and cellular therapies.

The ANZTCT Registry Committee reserves the right not to select any proposal if submissions are deemed not to meet the required scientific or feasibility standards.
