Dr Sueh-li Lim MBBS, FRACP, FRCPA is a clinical haematologist and early career researcher with a strong interest in multiple myeloma (MM). Since completing haematology training in 2015, Sueh-li worked as a Clinical and Laboratory Haematologist at Melbourne Haematology, Western Health, Eastern Health and Melbourne Pathology for several years pivoting to a career in clinical research in 2021.

She completed her clinical and translational research Myeloma Fellowship at Alfred Health in 2024, funded by the Merrin foundation. She enrolled in a clinical PHD with the Myeloma Research Group, Australian Centre for Blood Disease (ACBD) Monash University in 2021. Her PHD is titled “Targeting CD38 in Multiple Myeloma” and focuses on optimal use of CD38 monoclonal antibodies in MM with a particular focus on functional high-risk disease.

Sueh-li is the Myeloma Lead in the trial clinic at Alfred Health and is a Primary investigator or sub-investigator for over 40 MM studies. Sueh-li works with the Myeloma and Related Diseases Registry (MRDR) date to identify areas of unmet clinical need focusing on patients with inferior outcomes. With this knowledge Sueh-li works with AMARC to design and run investigator-initiated studies to improve outcomes for these patients. Sueh-li is also the Myeloma lead at Latrobe Regional Health aiming to improve access to better therapies for regional MM patients.
